Jane & Jenny Introduce eMeals

Jane DeLaney, founder of eMeals, is a mother of four children and the wife of an associate pastor. She grew up as the third of five in a preacher's family. Many wonderful memories grew out of the shared experience of family dinner for Jane. She found that her life was drastically different from that of her mother, who had fed her large family on a small grocery budget with a weekly meal plan of her own creation.

Jane's inspiration for eMeals grew out of her frustration of pulling off dinner for her own busy family. While one week would be somewhat sane with "a scribbled down meal plan on napkin lost in the bottom of my purse," the next would be sheer chaos. But she was committed to bringing her family together for quality time over dinner.

Jane began to search for a system to simplify getting her family around the table enjoying healthy and kid-friendly meals. The options that she found were either oblivious to her budget, required coupons, didn't have a grocery list, had complicated recipes or were not kid-friendly

In 2003, Jane began the task of creating a unique meal planning service that would incorporate all of the things that a mom would want to take the stress out of dinnertime. Her sister, Jenny Cochran, came alongside Jane and the two built an amazing team of meal planners who are all experienced family cooks. Jenny is also a pastor's wife, a mother of three, and most importantly - a fabulous cook.

eMeals has expanded to provide over 30 meal plan options that include easy to follow recipes and shopping lists and where possible are tied to weekly grocery store sales. Based on the shared vision of Jane and Jenny, eMeals has now provided a simple and affordable dinnertime solution to hundreds of thousands of busy people and families everywhere.
