- 4 whole-wheat English muffins, split
- ½ cup almond butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or use honey)
- 1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
- Toast muffins.
- Stir together almond butter and maple syrup in a small bowl; spread over cut sides of muffins.
- Arrange apple slices evenly on bottom halves of muffins.
- Cover with muffin tops, almond butter-sides down.
