Ingredients

  • 4 whole-wheat English muffins, split
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or use honey)
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Toast muffins.
  2. Stir together almond butter and maple syrup in a small bowl; spread over cut sides of muffins.
  3. Arrange apple slices evenly on bottom halves of muffins.
  4. Cover with muffin tops, almond butter-sides down.
