Apple-Kale Smoothies

  • 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg baby kale
  • 1 banana
  • 2 to 3 cups coconut water
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 cups crushed or cubed ice


  1. Combine apples, kale, banana, 2 cups coconut water, honey and ice in a blender.
  2. Cover and pulse until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
  3. Stir in additional coconut water to reach desired consistency.


For more protein, serve each smoothie with 2 hard-cooked eggs for an additional 140 calories per serving.
