Peanut Butter Swirl Bars

Ingredients
- 1½ (16.5-oz) rolls refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, cut into ½-inch-thick slices
- 1 (16-oz) pkg peanut butter sandwich cookies
- 1 (18.4-oz) box chocolate fudge brownie mix
- 1 (8-oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F; line a 13-x 9-inch pan with foil. Lightly grease foil.
- Arrange cookie dough in a single layer in pan. Using floured hands, press dough together to completely cover bottom of pan.
- Place sandwich cookies in a single layer over dough.
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions; pour over cookies.
- In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with a mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add egg, peanut butter and vanilla, beating until blended. Drop mixture by Tbsp over brownie batter; swirl batters together with a knife.
- Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until the center is puffed and set. Cover pan loosely with foil to prevent excess browning, if necessary. Cool completely before cutting. Makes 1½ dozen.
