Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped strawberries
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Stir together strawberries, sugar, water and lemon juice in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring, 5 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Spoon into a heatproof container.
  4. Cover and refrigerate up to 1 week.
