Meat Loaf Burgers with Tomato Gravy
Romaine Salad with Lemon VinaigretteIngredients
- ¾ lb ground beef
- 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 (14.5-oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onion
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ½ Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Shape beef into 2 patties; sprinkle with steak seasoning.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat to desired doneness. Remove from skillet, and keep warm; wipe skillet clean.
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat; add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes and broth; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in Worcestershire.
- Return burgers to skillet; cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (5-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
Side Dish Instructions
- Whisk together lemon juice, oil, mustard, and garlic in a bowl until blended.
- Add lettuce; toss. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
