Chocolate-Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients

  • 15 chocolate creme-filled sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (16-oz) carton heavy cream
  • 1 (8-oz) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 10 miniature chocolate-covered peanut butter cup candies, chopped

Instructions

  1. Stir together crushed cookies and melted butter. Press crumbs in bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate; chill 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, beat peanut butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
  3. Reduce speed to low, and gradually beat in powdered sugar until mixture is smooth.
  4. Add cream, and beat 1 minute.
  5. Increase speed to medium-high, and beat until mixture is thickened, about 2 minutes.
  6. Spoon mixture into prepared crust; cover and chill at least 4 hours.
  7. Spread whipped topping over pie.
  8. Sprinkle with peanut butter cups just before serving.
