Grilled Barbecue Burgers with Onion Rings
Backyard Baked BeansIngredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced Cheddar cheese
- 6 hamburger buns, split
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- ½ cup Ranch dressing
Instructions
- Bake onion rings according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, combine beef and seasoning; shape into 6 patties. Cook patties, in batches if necessary, in a large nonstick skillet 4 to 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers.
- Top burgers with cheese; let stand 1 minute or until melted.
- Preheat broiler. Place buns, cut sides up, on a baking sheet. Broil 2 minutes or until toasted.
- Spread barbecue sauce over cut sides of buns. Stir together coleslaw and dressing. Serve burgers on buns with slaw and onion rings.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (28-oz) can home-style baked beans, drained
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- ¼ cup barbecue sauce
- 2 slices bacon, diced
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place beans in a lightly greased 1½-quart baking dish. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
