Beef and Bean Tostadas
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 (12-count) pkg tostada shells
- 1 (15-oz) can refried beans
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- 1 head romaine lettuce, shredded
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in taco seasoning mix and water; cook until very thick.
- Heat tostada shells according to package directions. Heat beans according to directions on can; spread beans over shells. Place 2 tostada shells on each of 6 plates.
- Spread sour cream over beans; top with lettuce, meat mixture, cheese, and tomatoes. Serve immediately.
