Cheesy Dill Pickle Sloppy Joes
Sea Salt Sweet Potato FriesIngredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- ¾ cup chili sauce
- ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- ¼ cup chopped dill pickles
- 1 (8-oz) block sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 hamburger buns, lightly toasted
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- Cook beef and onion in a large skillet until beef is browned and crumbled; drain well.
- Stir together beef mixture, chili sauce, broth, ketchup, vinegar and salt in a greased 5- to 7-quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours.
- Stir in pickles and 1 cup cheese; cover and let stand 5 minutes.
- Serve beef mixture on buns with 1 cup cheese and lettuce.
