Sloppy Joe Mac and Cheese
Garlic Green BeansIngredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5-oz) can petite-diced tomatoes
- 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 (7-oz) pkg elbow macaroni
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- Cook beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, milk, broth, Worcestershire, and Dijon. Bring to a boil. Stir in uncooked macaroni; reduce heat, and simmer, covered, 12 to 15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir in 1½ cups cheese until melted. Sprinkle with ½ cup cheese; let stand until melted.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook beans according to package directions; drain, if needed.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add garlic, and sauté 30 seconds. Add beans, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
