Lone Star State Barbecue Burgers

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp barbecue seasoning
- 12 slices Texas toast
- ½ (18-oz) bottle barbecue sauce, divided
- 6 slices Cheddar cheese
- ½ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Whisk together oil, vinegar, honey, and mustard in a large bowl. Add coleslaw; toss and chill until ready to serve.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Stir together beef and barbecue seasoning; shape into 6 patties. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Grill toast 1 minute per side or until toasted.
- Spread desired amount of barbecue sauce on each patty; top with cheese. Let stand until melted.
- Stir together mayonnaise and ½ cup barbecue sauce in a small bowl. Spread desired amount of mayonnaise mixture over 1 side of 6 toast slices. Serve burgers on Texas toast with desired amount of coleslaw.
