Hamburger Steaks and Gravy
Mashed Potatoes and Roasted BroccoliIngredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 (8-oz) pkg whole mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2½ cups beef broth
Instructions
- Mix beef and seasoning in a large bowl; shape mixture into 6 patties. Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove patties, reserving 2 Tbsp drippings in skillet.
- Sauté onion and mushrooms in hot drippings until tender. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds, stirring often.
- Add flour; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually add Worcestershire and broth, stirring until smooth. Return patties to skillet; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until gravy is thickened.

- 1 (8-oz) pkg homestyle mashed potatoes
- 1 head broccoli, cut into spears
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook potatoes according to package directions.
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss together broccoli and oil on a rimmed baking sheet. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Bake 10 minutes or until browned and tender.
