Philly Cheesesteak Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ (0.7-oz) envelope Italian dressing mix
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • ½ (8-oz) pkg sliced provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a 4-quart slow cooker; top with bell pepper, onion, garlic, and broth. Sprinkle with seasoning mix. Cover and cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours. Shred chicken in cooker; mix well.
  2. Split hoagie rolls, and place desired amount of cheese on one side of each roll. Preheat broiler. Broil rolls 1 to 2 minutes until lightly browned and cheese is melted. Top with chicken mixture.
