Bacon-Wrapped Beef Tenderloin Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 lb beef tenderloin steaks
  • 14 slices bacon, cut in half
  • Wooden picks
  • 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp unsulphured molasses
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cut steaks into 2-inch chunks. Wrap each chunk with a piece of bacon; secure with wooden picks.
  2. Whisk together vinegar, molasses, mustard, oil, soy sauce, pepper and garlic powder in a shallow dish.
  3. Add steak bites, turning to coat. Let stand 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  5. Arrange steak bites in a single layer on a wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet.
  6. Bake 20 minutes.
  7. Remove wooden picks. Serve with Spicy Mustard Dipping Sauce.
