Meat Loaf Burgers with Tomato Gravy

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground sirloin
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 (14.5-oz) cans no-salt-added fire-roasted diced tomatoes (such as Muir Glen)
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Shape beef into 6 patties; sprinkle with seasoning.
  2. Cook patties in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Remove from skillet; wipe skillet clean.
  3. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat; add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomatoes and broth; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in Worcestershire.
  5. Return patties to skillet; cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen mashed cauliflower
  • ½ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook cauliflower according to package directions. Season with pepper.
