Maple and Banana Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups 1% low-fat milk
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Combine ¼ cup oats, ½ cup milk, and 1 Tbsp maple syrup in each of 4 jars or airtight containers; cover and shake to combine.
  2. Add banana to each jar; stir gently.
  3. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Meanwhile, toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until golden and fragrant.
  5. Top oats with walnuts before serving.
