Fire-Roasted Tomato Soup
Ingredients
- 2 (28-oz) cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 (14.5-oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1½ tsp smoked paprika (or use regular)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ⅛ tsp sugar
- 1 (5-oz) pkg seasoned croutons
Instructions
- Process all ingredients except croutons in a blender until smooth or use an immersion blender in a large saucepan.
- Pour puree into a large saucepan, and cook over medium heat 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Top with croutons.
