Slow Cooker Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 4 lb chicken drumsticks
  • 2½ cups sweet barbecue sauce
  • 1½ cups peach preserves
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard (or use yellow mustard)

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle drumsticks lightly with salt, and place in a greased 5- or 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together barbecue sauce, peach preserves, and mustard. Pour over chicken in cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours or until drumsticks are tender.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (12-count) pkg frozen mini ears corn
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) blueberries
  • 1 cored pineapple, cubed

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook corn according to package directions; drain and season with butter and salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Toss together fruit in a bowl; chill until ready to serve.
