Pork Belly Strips

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 strips thick-cut pork belly (about 1 lb)
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp granulated sweetener
  • 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Lay the strips of pork belly in a single layer in a 9- x13-inch glass baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, sweetener, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle half of the mixture on the strips, then flip them over and sprinkle the other sides with the rest of the mixture.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, then turn the oven to the broil setting and broil for 6 to 8 minutes, until crispy. Remove from the oven and serve.
