Sirloin Steak with Mustard Aioli

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ lb boneless top sirloin steak
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 lemon, cut into 6 wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or a grill pan coated with cooking spray to medium-high heat.
  2. Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, and garlic. Sprinkle both sides of steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill steak, covered with grill lid, 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. Squeeze lemon juice over steak. Serve with aioli.

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 3 carrots, cut into½-inch-thick sticks
  • ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute or until tender. Add green beans, carrots, and broth; bring to a boil.
  2. Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 5 to 6 minutes or until crisp-tender. Season with salt and pepper.
