Crunchy Soft Tacos
Mexican Rice and Guacamole and ChipsIngredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ (12.5-oz) pkg soft taco dinner kit
- ¼ cup water
- ½ (12-count) pkg hard taco shells
- 1 (16-oz) can refried beans
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- ½ (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, chopped
Instructions
- Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Add half of taco seasoning packet from kit and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until thickened.
- Meanwhile, heat desired number of taco shells according to package directions. Heat beans according to package directions.
- Spread beans in a thin layer over tortillas. Wrap each tortilla around 1 crunchy taco shell.
- Fill shells with meat mixture; top with cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

- ½ (16-oz) container guacamole
- ½ (10-oz) pkg tortilla chips
