Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza Soup

Ingredients
- ½ (16-oz) pkg ground mild Italian sausage
- ½ (3.5-oz) pkg pepperoni, chopped
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- ½ (14.5-oz) can no-salt-added diced tomatoes
- ½ (6-oz) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook sausage, pepperoni, onion, and garlic in a large Dutch oven 8 to 10 minutes or until sausage is browned and crumbly; drain well, and return to pot.
- Stir in broth, tomato sauce, tomatoes, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in cheese just before serving.
