Ingredients

  • ¼ cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 4 (5.4-oz) ground beef patties (or use ground turkey)
  • 1 (20-oz) pkg frozen peppers and onion blend
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can petite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dried basil

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and seasoning; dredge patties in mixture to coat.
  2. Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until browned. Remove patties from skillet; wipe skillet clean.
  3. Cook peppers and onion blend in hot oil in skillet over medium heat 8 minutes or until tender. Stir in tomatoes, vinegar, and basil. Return patties to skillet, and cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (24-oz) pkg frozen steam 'n mash potatoes (see Note)
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 3 plum tomatoes, chopped
  • ¾ cup Ranch dressing

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes according to package directions.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic to skillet; sauté 2 minutes; stir into mashed potatoes.
  3. Core lettuce and cut into 6 wedges. Sprinkle with tomato, and drizzle with dressing.
