Ingredients
- ¼ cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 4 (5.4-oz) ground beef patties (or use ground turkey)
- 1 (20-oz) pkg frozen peppers and onion blend
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (14.5-oz) can petite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp dried basil
Instructions
- Combine flour and seasoning; dredge patties in mixture to coat.
- Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until browned. Remove patties from skillet; wipe skillet clean.
- Cook peppers and onion blend in hot oil in skillet over medium heat 8 minutes or until tender. Stir in tomatoes, vinegar, and basil. Return patties to skillet, and cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (24-oz) pkg frozen steam 'n mash potatoes (see Note)
- ¼ cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 3 plum tomatoes, chopped
- ¾ cup Ranch dressing
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook potatoes according to package directions.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic to skillet; sauté 2 minutes; stir into mashed potatoes.
- Core lettuce and cut into 6 wedges. Sprinkle with tomato, and drizzle with dressing.
