Bite-Size Beef Tips
Egg Noodles and Broccoli with Cheese SauceIngredients
- 3 lb boneless chuck roast, trimmed and cut into bite-size pieces (or use beef round steak, cubed)
- 2½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning, divided
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 sweet onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 (6-oz) can tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Sprinkle beef with 1 Tbsp seasoning. Sauté beef in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned.
- Transfer beef to a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker. Add onion, broth, tomato paste, garlic, vinegar, and 1½ Tbsp steak seasoning; stir gently to mix.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours or until beef is very tender. Serve beef over noodles, if desired.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 8 oz medium egg noodles
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 (10-oz) boxes frozen broccoli with cheese sauce
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Add butter, stirring to melt. Season with salt to taste.
- Microwave broccoli according to package directions.
