Caribbean Jerk Burgers

Ingredients
- 6 (5.4-oz) ground beef patties
- 2½ Tbsp plus 1 tsp Jerk seasoning, divided
- 6 slices pepper-Jack cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
- 3 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Sprinkle patties with 2½ Tbsp Jerk seasoning.
- Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top each with 1 slice cheese; let stand until melted.
- Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, lime zest, lime juice, and 1 tsp Jerk seasoning in a bowl.
- Spread desired amount of mayonnaise mixture on buns. If desired, reserve remaining mixture as a dipping sauce for Sweet Potato Fries or other fries.
- Serve burgers on buns with lettuce and tomato.
