Cheesy Meatballs and Tortellini
Five-Cheese Bread and ApplesauceIngredients
- ½ (26-oz) pkg frozen Italian-style meatballs, thawed
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (19-oz) pkg frozen tortellini
- 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook meatballs in hot oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat until meatballs are browned.
- Stir in tortellini, tomatoes, water, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until tortellini is tender.
- Sprinkle with cheese; cover and cook 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (11.75-oz) pkg frozen five-cheese garlic bread
- 6 (4-oz) cups applesauce, chilled
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake bread according to package directions. Cut or tear into pieces.
- Serve applesauce on each plate.
