Cheesy Meatballs and Tortellini

Ingredients

  • ½ (26-oz) pkg frozen Italian-style meatballs, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (19-oz) pkg frozen tortellini
  • 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook meatballs in hot oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat until meatballs are browned.
  2. Stir in tortellini, tomatoes, water, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until tortellini is tender.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and cook 1 minute or until cheese is melted.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (11.75-oz) pkg frozen five-cheese garlic bread
  • 6 (4-oz) cups applesauce, chilled

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake bread according to package directions. Cut or tear into pieces.
  2. Serve applesauce on each plate.
