Baked Hamburger Steaks

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef (or use ground turkey)
  • ¼ cup minced onion
  • ½ small red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine beef, onion, bell pepper, parsley, garlic salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and egg in a large bowl. Shape into 6 patties. Place patties on a lightly greased rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Bake 15 minutes or until no longer pink in center. Serve with Ranch or ketchup, if desired.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg baby portobello mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss together vegetables, mushrooms, and oil on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Bake 15 minutes or until vegetables are browned and tender. Cool slightly, and chop into bite-size pieces.
