Breakfast Bacon Burgers over Kale

Ingredients

  • 8 slices center cut bacon
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg baby kale
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Place bacon on a paper towel-lined plate; microwave on HIGH 1½ to 2 minutes or until crisp. Crumble bacon.
  2. Combine beef, bacon, garlic salt, and pepper in a large bowl; mix just until blended. Shape beef mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until done.
  4. Divide kale among 4 plates; top with a burger, and drizzle with maple syrup.
