Asian Ground Beef Cabbage Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb lean ground beef (or use ground chicken or turkey)
  • 1 (10-oz) pkg shredded carrots
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce 
  • ½ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
  • 12 savoy cabbage leaves (or use green cabbage or romaine lettuce)
  • ¼ cup dry-roasted, salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in carrots and garlic; cook, stirring often, 2 minutes. Stir in soy sauce and chili sauce; cook 3 minutes. Stir in basil. Serve in cabbage leaves; sprinkle with nuts.
