Buffalo Shrimp Salad
Ingredients
- 2 lb peeled and deveined, large raw shrimp
- 3 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup hot sauce
- 2 (10-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 (4.5-oz) pkg crumbled bacon
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 (5-oz) pkg Texas toast croutons
- 1 (16-oz) bottle blue cheese dressing (or use Ranch)
Instructions
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add shrimp. Cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes.
- Add hot sauce, and cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and sauce is slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
- Toss lettuce, bacon, celery, tomatoes, and croutons in a large bowl. Add desired amount of dressing; toss.
- Divide salad among 6 plates; top salads with shrimp.
