Cheesy Vegetable Chowder
Garlic Dinner RollsIngredients
- 2 (16-oz) pkg frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups milk, divided
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (32-oz) carton chicken broth
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Combine vegetables and water in a large Dutch oven; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until just tender.
- Whisk together 1½ cups milk and flour until smooth; add to vegetables, stirring constantly. Stir in broth and remaining 1½ cups milk.
- Cook, stirring, over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Gradually stir in cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

- 1 (16-oz) pkg soft dinner rolls
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Halve rolls lengthwise, and place on a rimmed baking sheet. Brush with oil, and sprinkle with garlic. Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until toasted.
