Cheesy Parmesan Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 (25-oz) pkg frozen breaded chicken breast strips
  • 2 (11-oz) pkg parker-house style yeast rolls, partially thawed
  • 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Bake or fry chicken breast strips according to package directions.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut pan of rolls in half horizontally, keeping rolls intact. Return bottom of rolls to pans; spread about ½ cup marinara sauce over rolls. Sprinkle each with 1 cup mozzarella.
  3. Chop chicken into bite-size pieces and arrange over mozzarella. Dollop about ½ cup marinara sauce over chicken and sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella.
  4. Sprinkle each with Parmesan and cover with roll tops.
  5. Brush tops of rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Cover with foil, and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until rolls are browned and cheese is melted.
