Philly Cheesesteak-Topped Hamburger Steaks

Garlic Crinkle-Cut Fries

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • ½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded sharp white Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp prepared horseradish
  • ½ Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Stir together beef and seasoning; shape mixture into 2 patties. Cook patties in a nonstick skillet 5 to 6 minutes per side or until done. Remove from skillet; place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Wipe skillet clean.
  2. Melt butter in same skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spoon onion mixture over burgers; top with cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  4. Meanwhile, stir together sour cream, horseradish, parsley, and lemon zest. Serve sauce with burgers.

  • ½ (32-oz) pkg frozen crinkle-cut French fries
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions.
  2. Melt butter, parsley, and garlic in a small bowl in microwave at HIGH 30 seconds to 1 minute. Drizzle over fries, and toss. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
