Bacon and Swiss Pork Chops
Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Green BeansIngredients
- 2 lb boneless pork chops
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 (5-oz) pkg shredded Swiss cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Arrange pork chops on a large rimmed baking sheet; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Whisk together oil and garlic powder; brush on pork.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion reads 145°F.
- Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Cut slices in half; place on pork. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

- 2 (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen green beans
- 1 Tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
- Cook green beans according to package directions; toss with melted butter and seasoning. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
