Pork Chops in Garlic-Herb Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2¼ lb boneless pork chops
  • ½ tsp salt, divided
  • ½ tsp pepper, divided
  • 3 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ Tbsp all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup white wine
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork with ¼ tsp each salt and pepper. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add pork to skillet; cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add 2 Tbsp butter and garlic to skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until butter melts and garlic is fragrant. Add flour, whisking constantly, 1 minute.
  4. Whisk in wine, cream, Italian seasoning, and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper; cook 5 to 8 minutes or until reduced and thickened.
  5. Add pork, turning to coat; cook until thoroughly heated.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (32-oz) carton refrigerated mashed potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Heat potatoes according to package directions. Stir in chives.
  2. Meanwhile, cook green beans according to package directions. Toss with garlic powder and pepper.
