Mongolian Beef and Noodles

Sugar Snap Peas

Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg fettuccine
  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup less sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup less sodium beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • ½ Tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, and keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, cook beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet.
  3. Stir together brown sugar and all remaining ingredients. Add to beef in skillet; bring to a boil, and cook until mixture is slightly thickened. Add pasta; toss.



Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sugar snap peas
  • 1 Tbsp butter, softened
  • ⅛ tsp salt

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook peas according to package directions; toss with butter and salt.
