Cut loaf slices into rounds using a large biscuit cutter or the rim of a large glass; set aside.
Beat cream, sugar, and ¼ cup coffee with a mixer in a medium bowl until soft peaks form; set aside.
Pour ½ cup coffee into a shallow bowl. Dip half of cake rounds in coffee, and place in bottom of each of 4 dessert glasses. Divide half of cream mixture among glasses.
Dip remaining cake rounds in coffee, and layer over cream mixture. Top with remaining cream; sprinkle with cocoa.
