Turkey Reuben and Pickle Bites

Ingredients

  • 12 slices rye bread
  • ½ cup thousand Island dressing
  • 12 Swiss cheese slices
  • ½ lb thinly sliced deli turkey
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can sauerkraut, well drained
  • 12 mini dill pickles
  • 12 wooden picks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut bread into 2½-inch squares and place on a baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until toasted.
  2. Spread dressing over toasted bread. Cut cheese slices into 2½-inch squares; layer over dressing. Top with turkey, sauerkraut, and pickles. Skewer with wooden picks, if desired.
