Asparagus Gratin

Ingredients
- 2 lb asparagus, trimmed
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- ⅔ cup heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp whole grain mustard
- 2 tsp all purpose flour
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 (8-oz) block fontina cheese, shredded
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss together asparagus and onion in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish .
- Stir together cream, mustard, flour, garlic, salt, pepper, and 1 cup fontina in a bowl. Pour mixture over asparagus; toss.
- Top creamy asparagus with Parmesan and remaining 1 cup fontina. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender and cheese is beginning to brown.
