Toss together steak, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.
Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
Stir in pineapple; cook until heated. Serve over rice.
