Carne Asada Sub Sandwich

Guacamole with Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 (20-oz) pkg frozen pepper and onion blend
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (14-oz) pkg frozen fully cooked steak fajitas, thawed
  • 6 sub rolls, split and toasted
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded pepper Jack cheese
  • 1 cup creamy chipotle sauce
  • 3 Tbsp fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook pepper and onion blend in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat until tender. Add steak, and cook until thoroughly heated.
  2. Fill sub rolls with steak mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with cilantro.

  • 1 (11-oz) pkg tortilla chips
  • 1 (8-oz) container guacamole

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Serve guacamole with chips.
