Sweet and Sticky Steak Bites

Mashed Potatoes and Cinnamon-Sugar Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb (2-inch-thick) boneless beef sirloin steak, cubed
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup olive oil, divided

Instructions

  1. Combine steak and all remaining ingredients except oil in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal bag, and refrigerate at least 8 hours .
  2. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade. Cook half of steak in 2 Tbsp hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness. Repeat with remaining oil and steak.



Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 (32-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
  • 2 tsp cinnamon sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg baby carrots

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bring carrots and water to cover to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. Heat potatoes according to package directions.
  3. Meanwhile, combine lemon juice, butter, cinnamon sugar, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until butter melts. Add carrots; toss.
