Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta shells according to package directions.
Meanwhile, cook beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and ⅓ cup cheese.
Spoon mixture into pasta shells, and place, meaty side up, in a lightly greased small baking dish. Sprinkle with ⅓ cup cheese. Pour broth around pasta shells in dish.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with lettuce, dill pickles, and tomato.

Preheat broiler. Place buns, cut sides up, on a small baking sheet. Spread butter on buns; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Broil until toasted.
