Chocolate Chip-Caramel Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 (30-oz) pkg refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, divided
  • ½ (11.5-oz) bottle dulce de leche
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Press one package cookie dough into bottom of a lightly greased 13-x-9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes.
  2. Drizzle dulce de leche over partially-baked cookie crust. Crumble remaining package of cookie dough over dulce de leche. Sprinkle with salt.
  3. Return to oven, and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until center is set. Let cool before cutting into bars.
