Open-Faced Lasagna Sloppy Joes
Sweet Kale Chopped SaladIngredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 (24-oz) jar arrabbiata sauce
- 6 slices Italian bread
- 1½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet. Add arrabbiata sauce, and cook until thoroughly heated.
- Meanwhile, preheat broiler. Arrange bread slices on a large baking sheet; coat generously with cooking spray. Broil until toasted.
- Stir together ricotta and seasoning in a bowl. Spread over toasted bread. Top with meat sauce and mozzarella. Broil 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
