Easy Ham Carbonara
Parmesan Peas
- 12 oz uncooked angel hair pasta
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb cooked, chopped ham (reserved from Awesome Baked Ham)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup butter
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Cook pasta according to pkg directions; drain well.
- Sauté onion in hot oil in a large skillet until tender.
- Add ham, broth and butter.
- Heat until butter is melted.
- Stir in hot cooked pasta.
- Add egg yolks and cook until eggs are set.
- Sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan; toss.
- 1 (12-oz) bag frozen steam in bag peas
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Cook peas according to package directions; add butter, stirring until melted.
- Add Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine.
