Steak Salad with Corn and Bacon

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1½ lb top sirloin steak, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 (3-count) pkg hearts of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen corn kernels, thawed
  • 1 (5-ounce) pkg seasoned croutons
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ½ (12-oz) bottle refrigerated ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels, reserving 2 Tbsp drippings in skillet.
  2. Sprinkle steak with seasoning and cook in hot drippings over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
  3. Let stand 10 minutes; cut steak into 1-inch pieces.
  4. Toss together steak, lettuce, bacon, corn, croutons, and cheese in a large bowl. Serve with dressing.
