Beef Pot Pie over Flaky Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1½ tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 (10.5-oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1½ cups frozen peas and carrots
- 2 cups frozen diced hash browns
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 6 frozen buttermilk biscuits
Instructions
- Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Add flour, garlic salt, and pepper; cook, stirring, 2 minutes. Stir in broth and soup; cook 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Add peas and carrots, hash browns, and thyme. Cook for 15 minutes or until hash browns are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile bake biscuits according to package directions.
- Split biscuits and divide among 6 plates. Spoon beef mixture over biscuits.
