Ground Beef Gyros
Tzatziki Sauce, Pita Chips, and Seedless Grapes
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 2 tsp Greek seasoning
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 6 pita bread rounds, halved
- 1 head green leaf lettuce
- 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- Combine beef, Greek seasoning, and oregano; season lightly with salt and pepper. Shape mixture into 6 patties.
- Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Cut patties into thin slices; stuff into pitas.
- Separate lettuce into leaves. Add to pitas with tomatoes and onion; serve with Tzatziki Sauce recipe.
- 1 (5.3-oz) carton plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup peeled shredded cucumber
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- 1 (8-oz) pkg pita chips
- 1 lb seedless grapes
- Stir together yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, and garlic salt. Serve tzatziki sauce, pita chips, and grapes with gyros.
